The Blowing Rock Manor

The location is great, within walking distance to downtown blowing rock. The facilities are clean and rustic sheik vibes with stylish decorative touches throughout manor and rooms. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Nice covered parking area around back with elevators and stairs to lobby/rooms. The complimentary breakfast order was taken at check in was delivered to room in the evening which included huge locally sourced muffins, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee maker is in the room. There is a creek behind property with several chairs and tables along bank to sit and relax with a glass of wine or morning coffee. The pull out sofa bed was a good size and very comfortable, will fit one adult or two kids. I will definitely stay here again, loved it!

Very spacious....Room was nice, but a bit cold. Lack of fireplace for the presidential suite was surprising. A nice warm rug would add to some warmth being in the mountains. Also, add some paper guest towels or a bar towel at the wet bar ,so not to use linens from the bath would be helpful. Maybe a wine reception for an hour to help with some socialization. If you want very quiet and to be left alone, however , this is a nice place to be.

Location is perfect. You have a view of mountains and the river. The king suits have luxury amenities in the bath and the living room. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and they accommodated our early check-in

The facility was beautiful and clean! Great location to all the local restaurants.
